The Motorcylist Touring Club (MTC) is a family of current and former motorcycle riders who enjoy touring, camping and building lasting friendships. Brand, type or size of motorcycle is irrelevant, it's the riding and fellowship that is the important factor.
Indeed, there are members who no longer ride due to any number of circumstances, but are always welcome because they are considered family. That's the key word. In the MTC, folks aren't just members, they are considered to be family, and we are more than happy to welcome new members to our family. Many members of the MTC have known each other for years and get together regularly. Once a year a National Gathering is held, usually in late June or early July. The rally is held during the week, which allows for the best choices in getting a campground, as well as allowing the weekends for travel. In the past rallies have been held in Indianna Beach, Indiana, and Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. In addition to the National, there are other, more local, functions, which are announced in the newsletter, as well as on the email mailing list.
